As of today, Barking & Dagenham Renew employs one full-time member of staff, a Trust Officer, who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity.
This post is supported by a generous grant from the Lankelly Chase Foundation, for which we are very grateful. As part of this grant, the Trust Officer will also be researching and exploring ways of making the process of grant making more participatory.
Cameron Bray was previously the editor of Music Teacher magazine and the head of content programming for the Music & Drama Education Expo – their tenure was marked by a commitment to diversity and accessibility.
Prior to publishing, Cameron was with the charity HMDT Music, working with young musicians from the ages of 0 to 25. This work included making music with disabled young people and implementing systems to make music education more accessible to marginalised people. In September 2019, Cameron joined Drake Music as a Trustee.
