Barking & Dagenham Renew and Lankelly Chase are working collaboratively to develop effective ways of grant making across Barking & Dagenham.  At a time of great change and innovation in the borough, this is an exciting opportunity to explore new ways of funding organisations and individuals to bring lasting change.

We are looking for an energised Trust Officer for this ground-breaking role. You’ll be helping us set up and manage innovative new grants programmes – changing how we fund and support social change.

Our new approach will be participatory and highly relational, so we’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent people skills. You’ll feel confident interacting with a variety of different stakeholders, including residents, local groups, local authority officers and Board members.

You’ll have demonstrable experience of designing and facilitating creative and engaging community workshops, activities and events which prioritise the lived experience and expertise of local people. You will also have experience of coordinating multiple projects, competing priorities, and working both on your own and as part of a team to ensure excellent project deliverables.  The post requires working remotely and on the ground across the borough
