Barking & Dagenham Renew and Lankelly Chase are working collaboratively to develop effective ways of grant making across Barking & Dagenham. At a time of great change and innovation in the borough, this is an exciting time to explore new ways of funding organisations and individuals to bring lasting change.
We are looking for an energised Trust Officer for this ground breaking role. You will be responsible for managing grant programmes, from initial co-design through to implementation (including Participatory Grant Making initiatives).
You will have experience of supporting people/communities to set the agenda and drive change. You will have excellent people skills and feel confident interacting with a variety of different stakeholders; including residents, local groups, local authority officers and Board members. You will be able to work remotely.
You will have demonstrable experience of designing and facilitating creative and engaging community workshops, activities and events which prioritise the lived experience and expertise of local people looking to improve their communities. You will also have experience of coordinating multiple projects, competing priorities, and working both on your own and as part of a team to ensure excellent project deliverables. You will be able to work remotely.
